Purpose of the website

macgamefps.com is a free tool that estimates the frames per second (FPS) that games with an official macOS version achieve on Apple Silicon Macs. Estimates are computed from public performance data (Geekbench Metal), official requirements published by studios and measurements published by specialist outlets, as explained on the methodology page.

Terms of use

Access is free and requires no registration. Users agree to use the site and its content lawfully and not to extract its data in bulk through automated means.

Accuracy of information

FPS figures are indicative estimates unless expressly labelled as measured. Real performance depends on game version, macOS version, settings and conditions of use. The owner does not guarantee the accuracy of estimates and accepts no liability for purchase decisions based on them.

Intellectual property

The text, design, code and calculation methodology of macgamefps.com belong to its owner. Game names, images and other trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively. Mac, MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac mini, Mac Studio, Apple Silicon and MetalFX are trademarks of Apple Inc. MacGameFPS is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Apple Inc.

Advertising and affiliate links

Some game pages include affiliate links to Eneba, a game-key store, labelled “Affiliate link”. If you buy after clicking one, we earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We only show them when what is sold works on Mac: Steam keys for games with a Mac version and, for World of Warcraft, Battle.net game time.

We also link to FizzPlays, another project of ours, labelled as such. The site may show Google AdSense advertising in the future. Neither affiliate links nor advertising influence performance estimates.

The site links to third-party websites whose content the owner does not control and for which it accepts no responsibility.
